I always like to see someone starting a project that was inspired by BARIS. You know, judging by your description, I'm tempted to think you mainly played the floppy version of BARIS. The CD version (and the modern port you linked to) actually have three separate movie sequences per launch scenario, so you get one of three, not the same one every time.
